All former Staff Members are encouraged to contact the Staff Director to reaffirm their active commitment. As more and more Masonic homepages appear on the Internet, we feel that it is important that they represent our Lodges and Fraternity in the best possible light. Therefore, the OWMG will be doing everything we can in order to help our brethren build homepages that symbolize the fidelity, industry, and skill, which should characterize our work as craftsmen. Our focus will be on promoting these standards throughout our member sites. The first step in offering this support is to redevelop the OWMG site so that we may provide all the necessary tools and resources that will enable our brethren to build high quality homepages. We hope that once completed, the OWMG will become a One-Stop-Resource for any brethren who wish to publish a Masonic homepage, or improve an existing one. To do this, we will need a support staff who is willing to help us build the Ultimate Masonic Web Resource. Although we are looking for members who have experience with HTML publishing, not everyone needs to be a computer expert in order to help us. What we really need are hard workers who are committed to working for the benefit of E-Masonry. In the section below we will be listing some of the various Staff Committees that we will need to fill. If you would like to volunteer for any of the committees, you may contact us by e-mail and tell us a little about yourself and in which capacity you would like to serve. Our e-mail address is: fragianni@hotmail.com. OWMG Support Staff:Executive Operations Committee: To discuss and guide the Guild into the future. Developing and implementing new programs, and removing old programs that are not serviceable to the program or the fraternity. This committee will also discuss, select, and if necessary, dismiss Staff Members as needed. Membership & Records Committee: Develop and maintain a listing of Guild members and their homepages. This will involve monitoring the Email Group, updating URL’s, e-mail addresses, and adding new members. A working knowledge of databases would be helpful. Web Site Committee: Developed and maintain the OWMG Web Site. The committee will discuss design options, and features, then will implement them into a current presentation. Graphics & Design Committee: Collect, design and categorize Masonic and Web graphics. Design and prepare customizable Masonic Banners and Logos. You may serve on more than one committee if you desire. We ask that you do not volunteer for more than you can handle as it important that our work be completed in a timely manner.
